Metatrader Expert Advisor: Steinitz HAS MTF EA v2.2 (ForexRobotTrader) – Wednesday, August 1 had a little uptick. Our equity moved to just shy of $600. Markets are still crazy, time will tell if we get out of this. Sorry for the boring update today. It’s more fun when you are making money – so click on a Google Ad at least I can’t lose that money…unless me telling you to click on it is fraud…never-mind…ssshhhh I didn’t say anything, wink

FX Auto (FXDD Auto) from Tradency – As of Wednesday, August 1 we had two trades go south on us. Both unfortunately were ATR channel trades with .2 lots on them which made it harder to take. It’s fun going up but stinks coming down. We ended the day with over $300 in losses and my happy $3000 is down to $2600. Well I’m sure everything will turn around, it has been bouncing in cycles like this for a while.

Metatrader Expert Advisor: Steinitz HAS MTF EA v2.2 (ForexRobotTrader) – Tuesday, July 31 had a one trade close the new GBPCHF made $5.57 and opened another trade after the trade closed. So currently we have 13 open trades with a negative float of $840.26 leaving the equity at $506.31 – now we did get as $680 in the last 24 hours…but we did fall back down. FX Auto (FXDD Auto) from Tradency- As of Tuesday, July 31 we had two trades close today for a little gain. It should be noted that I started FX-Auto on April 29 with a net of $1500 (since I took $1000 out on June 25) and I am sitting at just over $3000 in equity. I know that seems like 100% over the last 3 months but it is really $4000/2500 = 60% (3000 today + 1000 withdraw divided by $2500 initial deposit). As an added note -  I’ll take 60% per quarter

Metatrader Expert Advisor: Steinitz HAS MTF EA v2.2 (ForexRobotTrader) – Monday, July 30 can now be summarized in two words – small recovery!!!! No trades closed but a new trade was open on GBPCHF. I have NOT changed my timeframes and am trying to hold a steady course throughout this collapse. The trade was open because I modified the max spread to allow the trade. Right now I have 13 trades open and the float is negative $791.94. Equity has creep back to 549.26 and since 5pm the pairs have clawed back past the $600 mark. I wrote this a few minutes ago over at Forex-TSD.  Post 3916

Equity has dropped to $427, was as low as $330 a few hours ago. I’m holding on for a recovery but probably should play with the 4.set but have not yet. My concern is as soon as I start the 1/6 will kick back in and work fine and I’ll be stuck with a semi-hedge and maybe a few more losing positions. I have traded my account with default 2.2 settings except for MM=false, mini=false, micro=true. I have traded only .02 lots and a couple of .03 lots. My leverage isn’t that large at all and I am getting killed. I want to make sure my account lives another day so I will not bastardize the original 1/6 strategy yet. Take a look at my LIVE account for the folks looking at starting. It’s bad, but I do think with time and a few tweaks we can get this EA working. Last week was a disaster for everything, the S&P was clobbered as well. I lost more money there last week then I would ever dream of trading in forex…yet the $900 I’m down off my highs of $1341 pi$$es me off many times more. Maybe because I want to find a fun EA that works. I think with money management and lot management and pair management and hedge management and whatever else we up come with will work…but only time will tell.

I hope we ALL get a nice recovery, live through this and build a better EA together.
