FX Auto (FXDD Auto) from Tradency – As of Friday, August 10 we closed the week off with some profit but not a ton. Just a note I have moved my ATR Channel back to only .1 lots from .2 – I did add the extra Team Aphid GBPUSD a day or two ago to make up for the lowering of the ATR Channel trades. I love ATR but I felt I had to much at risk in one direction. Plus I feel it’s probably due for one of it’s losses so maybe I will bump it up after.

Yes – it was some spring promotion they were running so I’m not sure if they are doing that anymore. I guess not since they said no…I wish you the best of luck. Feel free to drop by and post your results. I would be happy to see how other folks are doing. ALso I hope you have seen FX245.com he is doing a great job over there. I unfortunately haven’t had enough time to poke around over there.

I’m having huge DD with Steinitz as well and wanted to try FXDDAuto after seeing your gains. On your closed trades it looks like only one of them was with the program, and it was a loser. Why not just trade manually if that’s the case, or am I misreading this?

Hey Rick – I was just closing my positions out for the weekend. Most of the time I let them run but I had a good week and didn’t want to lose any of my gains like the Steinitz EA. Most of the time I let positions run but when I see I have 6 lots in the same direction I start to pick and choose what I want to sell. Usually I’ll look at who has a nice tight stop and keep them. I’m real happy to be up to almost $4000 – when i was at $3000 I got there and kept losing like $500 and had to work my back. Now, I’m thinking as long as I have a good win, I’m not going to get greedy. Take the wins when you can, because the losses will come…

If you use FX-AUTO – stick with atr channel and start working more guys into the strategy. I do like Team Aphid, but I can see a bad day if both the eur and gbp go against them. At least they have nice stops, but they are trading .4 lots (.1 x 4), which is why I backed down my atr channel lots to .1.
