Well – I had to start with $2500 – that’s the minimum amount of money to start with FXDD FX-AUTO FXDDAUTO – whatever the name. So far so good, but I think you have to watch out for some of the strategies. If you just focus on Drawdown of a strategy it doesn’t paint the whole picture because it doesn’t include intratrade drawdowns. Also some of them have high winning percentages – I believe this is because they might let their losers run until they come back – bad strategy. Setup a demo account (it’s free) and get your feet wet. Try the ones I am using – Forex Fighter KO, ATR Channel and the Profits Club. The http://www.fx-performance.com site doesn’t lie, match my trades up to theirs. Note I manually jumped out of a few trades due to over exposure. I was scared actually – just want my account to be around for a while.

If I had enough money to fully participate I would look at some of yours. However, just looking at intraday drawdowns – I can NOT go with Quants. I initially liked them but then I saw that drawdown and I just though I could blow my account away with them.

I wasn’t aware of the max 300 pips – interesting.

I picked mine because of the smaller stops and decent performance. I looked at the whole list and marked off NO for big intraday drawdowns and then marked NO for performance problems. I have a few possible ones, but these where just the ones I settled on.
